How Korean School content is made

Korean School is an independent learning project operated by 해본놈RK (Haebonnom RK). Its purpose is to help learners practise Korean and understand the situations in which it is used. It is not an accredited school and is not affiliated with Google, the National Institute of Korean Language, or a government education programme.

What a study guide should provide

A guide should solve a specific learning problem. The study companions published on 2 October 2026 include a model, an explanation of why the language works, common errors, practice with answer explanations, and links to the relevant lessons. Sample dialogues are constructed examples unless a page explicitly identifies a real source.

A study estimate describes the time to work through a resource; it does not promise mastery or a particular test score. We do not claim an audience size without evidence. Cultural conventions can vary by setting, generation, and individual. An example describes a useful starting point rather than how every Korean person behaves.

Sources and verification

For a word’s meaning and pronunciation, the National Institute of Korean Language’s Korean–English Learners’ Dictionary is a reference learners can consult independently. Guides list relevant lookup terms and any directly used reference. Links to official resources are references, not endorsements of this site.

Examples, explanations, and exercises add learning context instead of reproducing dictionary entries. For details that change, such as opening hours, transport fares, visa rules, and product availability, check the responsible organisation before acting. A practice price in a dialogue is not current market information.

AI assistance and translation limits

AI tools assist with site development, drafting, exercises, illustrations, and translations. The new study companions were prepared with AI assistance. No claim is made that a qualified teacher or the named operator has independently reviewed every newly generated sentence. Learners should use the linked references and report errors or unnatural examples.

Translations can lose nuance even when complete. The original lesson language is English, with translated versions available through the language menu. These new study companions are currently in English; a link to one from another language is labelled accordingly. Korean examples remain in Hangul. Synthetic speech is a pronunciation aid and may differ from natural conversation.

Report a correction that can be acted on

Email hustlin.up@gmail.com with the page URL, the exact sentence or question, and what seems wrong. Include a suggested correction or reference if you have one. Please do not include sensitive personal information. Reports reach the operator; there is no promised response time or automatic publication queue.

Corrections should be applied to the affected page and relevant translations, with an accurate revision date. The content update log records substantial site changes. It records completed work, rather than implying that future reviews have already taken place.

Advertising and access

Lessons and study guides are free to access without an account. Google AdSense is the intended advertising provider, subject to approval and availability. Advertising does not determine exercise answers or the subjects taught. Ads must not interrupt a practice question or disguise themselves as lesson navigation.

Advertising and analytics scripts are paused throughout this revision. The AdSense ownership-verification tag and ads.txt remain available; they do not make an ad request. Activation needs account approval, an applicable consent configuration, and placement checks. Search, quiz screens, word-bank tools, travel planners, and policy/contact pages should remain free of ads. The privacy policy explains browser storage, analytics, third-party services, and advertising data. The About page gives the operator’s background.
