Learning without an account
You can read lessons without registering. Progress, saved words, study ticks, language, and theme preferences are stored in your browser’s local storage. This is separate from analytics. Clearing site data removes local progress; another browser or device does not automatically receive it.
Hosting and external services
Our hosting provider receives request data such as IP address, URL, browser information, and time. Pages can request Google Fonts and externally hosted images; those providers receive connection information. Speech playback may send the requested Korean text to the speech provider through our server or use your browser’s speech service. Do not put personal or sensitive information into learning tools.
Analytics and advertising
Advertising and analytics scripts are paused in this revision. If enabled later, Google and other vendors may use cookies based on visits to this and other sites to serve, personalise, and measure ads. The privacy controls below explain your choices. Advertising activation requires the applicable consent configuration.
Your choices
Manage cookies and site storage in your browser. Google offers advertising controls and an Analytics opt-out add-on. Disabling storage may prevent progress from being saved. The new study companions do not load analytics or advertising scripts. A privacy notice is not a consent-management platform; Google’s applicable consent requirements still apply to advertising.
Email and policy changes
If you email us, we receive your address and message and use them to respond or investigate a correction. Do not include sensitive information. Email is handled by the email provider. Updates to this notice appear with a revised effective date. For privacy requests, contact the address above.
